A TEST OF FIRE
Good evening friends.I pray you are well.
I’m sharing a post which will answer the major question that we all as Christian ask ourselves. ”Why does God allow Christians to go through trials?”
1 Peter 5:9 “Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your bretheren in the world.”
This verse alone shows you that the trials and tribulations which you are going through while seemingly unique to only are actually being experienced by every true Christian around the world.
Daniel had a custom of praying three times a day and yet he was thrown into the Lions den.
Daniel 6:10-17 “10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Being a Christian and doing God’s will does not mean you will not go through trials. It simply means that when you go through trials,God will see you through them.
Just like in the story found in Daniel 3 of Shadrach Meshach Abednego. Believing in God did not stop them from being thrown into the fire. However God delivered them FROM the fire they were thrown into.
God does this to test our faith in Him whether we will turn back upon facing trials or whether we will continue seeking Him. Are we seeking Him only when things are good or are we ready to carry our cross everyday?
Though Satan may feel like he is oppressing you and while he may try to make you backslide through trials, do not give in.
God uses trials to mold us into the Children He wants us to be. Going through trials should draw you closer to God and not away from God. It should strengthen your prayer life as you run to God for refuge.
The bible in Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
At the end of it all,Trials work towards Gods purpose.
1 Corinthians 10:13
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
1 Peter 1:7 So that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe.”
REMEMBER GREAT IS YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN!
