Being a christian isn't just going to church every Sunday and attending midweek prayers,or singing in the choir,or preaching in church,or doing evangelism,or helping the poor while you are still living in sin.
Still trivializing gossip,lying,lust,and slander.
I have found that the biggest hypocrites are found in church,the biggest unbelievers are found in church,the most judgmental people are found in church.
This is the message the Lord Jesus Christ gave me to pass on,which i've posted here before;"Do not talk about your brothers and sisters in the Lord.Do not talk about anyone at all.Mind your own business.If you see someone in the wrong,then talk to them about it and pray for them."
Do not rejoice and begin to spread gossip if a believer falls.That's not Love.Love will correct and intercede for that person.
If you think someone isn't living like a christian,then talk to them about it.You don't have to look down on them for that and think you are more righteous.
That will only take you on a faster route to hell than the person you are looking down on.
Being a christian is allowing Jesus Christ to transform you to be like Him in ALL you do and say.
Its being pure inside and out.Even in your secret thoughts and imaginations.
If you are dressing like the world but calling yourself a christian.Do you think God would be proud to call you His child?
Or if you are dressing like a christian but still keeping bitterness,unforgiveness,and impurity in your heart,do you think God,(who sees all things including our secret thoughts)would be proud to call you His child?
would God be proud of the things you talk about?the jokes you share and laugh at?
Being a christian is a lifestyle.Its laying YOUR WHOLE LIFE before God and letting His Holyspirit change you.
