DEMONIC BULLYING
2 Timothy 3:12 “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”
Whenever I am feeling down,I always get comfort in knowing that Jesus is always there for me and will always remain my friend. I am not alone as He has promised to be with us until the end of the age.
Going to Heaven and passing through the narrow way is harder than we think. It takes perseverance as Satan with his demons will launch various kinds of attacks just to get us down to our knees.
However when we are experiencing these attacks,it is time to tighten the armour of God that Ephesians 6 says we are to put on.
We should make sure that we are fully dressed with the armour of God through living in total obedience to the word of God and doing God’s work so that there is no part of us that is left vulnerable to the devil.
A long time ago,I used to think that persecution is just Satan using people or demons in human disguise to try and make us backslide through criticising our outer and inward holiness.
However,I’ve come to know that Satan will do anything to get you to a point of vulnerability so that you stop praying. Satan hates prayer as it counters his attacks and puts you in a position of victory both physically and spiritually. He also knows that prayer is the victory tool to get you to Heaven as you will be able to overcome his attempts to discourage you on your journey.
In this vain,I’ve noticed that Satan will use many tricks to get you to this place of loneliness and isolation including using vices such as BULLYING against you at school,in the workplace, church or any other place where you are regularly found. It can even be in a home where you are the only believer and others are not and they will launch all kinds of verbal attacks against you.
Satan strongly trusts verbal attacks as these make you lose spirit and morale so that you don’t pray.
You can find yourself in a situation where it seems like the whole world has risen against you as a Christian and everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. That is a place of persecution and you have to get close to Jesus to find that place of peace.
Matthew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Satan does not know that his persecution actually leads us closer to God as we seek refuge in Him. Don’t run away from God. Run to God.
