Do not try to be “not too holy.”
Once the light becomes like the darkness it is no longer light,but darkness.
Jesus has called His disciples out of the world and they live on this earth as strangers living in a foreign land.
Just like a foreigner will stand out in a foreign country because their lifestyle and language will be different from everyone else, God’s children can no longer fit into the world because their language is different,their interests are different,their lifestyle is different.
Once you try to fit into the world by dressing like the world, talking dirty like the world, and engaging in the sinful things of the world,Jesus will spit you out because you are lukewarm and no longer the light.
Revelation 3:16
“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
God’s children are strangers, longing for their heavenly home,not trying to build their home here on earth by adopting a worldly lifestyle.
God’s children are the salt and light because they show the world the way to Jesus through their lifestyle.
The people of the world will have a witness against them on the day of judgement because even though no one preached to them,they were still able to see the difference between the life they lived and the life God desires.
Do not dim your light.
You must overcome the world and inherit your heavenly home.
There’s no middle ground,it’s either you’re holy or you are in sin.
Jesus wants complete surrender or nothing at all.
