EARTH IS A PLACE TO PREPARE FOR HEAVEN

(A dream from Jesus)

Months before giving my life to Jesus,God had already planted a seed in me even though I was unaware.
I developed an interest in godly things.
Although I was still entertaining worldly things like secular music, dressing imodestly, lying, gossiping,and all manner of sin,I used to pray and read the bible.
I didn’t know the way of salvation of complete seperation from the world,but God had planted a seed of desire for His presence in my heart.
I prayed regularly and afterwards I would go about my life without regard for God’s word, except what I considered big sins.
I had this dream months before I had an encounter with Jesus.
Before He started showing me any visions.

One morning as I was still sleeping,I had a dream that I went up to heaven.
I ascended really high above the earth and I found myself standing in front of these huge beautiful gates.
The moment I saw them,I knew I was standing before the gates of heaven.
I knew that this was the place where I needed to be.
I couldn’t believe i was finally here and I was so eager to just rush in after all I had read about this place in the bible.
However,I couldn’t go in because the gates were shut tightly,I couldn’t enter.
When I looked to my right,
I saw the Lord Jesus.
He was tall and very beautiful.
I recognized Him immediately.
This was the first time I saw Jesus in a dream.
He wore a very beautiful crown on His head and His robes were pure white,all the way to His feet.
He looked like a King but at the same time I could tell that He loved me and was concerned about me.
He looked at me as I faced the gates of heaven, trying to enter.
When He spoke to me,His voice was so calm and gentle.
He walked to where I stood,extended his hand and touched my shoulder,then He said,”This is the place where you are supposed to come.But right now,you cannot enter this place because you are not ready.I cannot let you in.”
I felt my heart sink.
I had been very expectant to go in.
For some reason,i couldn’t say anything.I was just silent.
I was stunned.Firstly because I realized Jesus is real,and also because I realized heaven is real,and I had been so excited to get in after just hearing about this place and now He was telling me I couldn’t go in.
Jesus said to me,”come.”
I turned around to where He was leading me.
We moved a few steps away from the gate,Jesus looked down.
I looked down to see what He was looking at.
Then I realized that this place where we stood was really really way high.
Down below,I could see the earth.
I could see mountains, buildings,forests,but everything was very very far from where we stood.
I felt a cool breeze on my face.
Jesus held my left arm and said to me,”You have to go back there to earth so that you can prepare to come here.When you go there,I want you to prepare for this place.I will come and take you,but you need to prepare.”
Then I woke up and the dream ended.
Months after this,I encountered God and my life has never been the same.
The things I esteemed highly,I now hate and despise.
The things I despised,I now cherish.
Jesus wants us to spend this time on earth preparing for His Kingdom,not living only for the here and now.
The world and everything in it is passing away.
We are not here on earth to chase after the world.
We are here to do God’s work and prepare for His Kingdom.
If we do not prepare,our names will not be in the book of life and we cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven.
