Hi my beloved brothers and sisters.
Just letting you know that I do not give “a word from the Lord” on request.
This is my personal preference because when people start asking for a word, sometimes people end up giving”a word” from their own mind.
It makes someone walk on a very thin line because it’s a serious thing when you say God has said something,you had better be sure God has really said it.
We will be accountable for every word we speak.
So for me,I prefer you just give your prayer request, and if God happens to speak to me about it it,I will tell you without you requesting that.
God speaks when and how He wants,we cannot force Him but must wait for Him.
Even I have to wait to hear from God when am praying for my personal requests.
Sometimes He will tell me about it there and then and other times He will be quiet but will come and tell me about it at His timing.
It’s not all the time when I present a request to the Lord that He will speak to me about it there and then.
Sometimes I have prayed about things, and God doesn’t speak to me about it but He goes to tell someone else to give me a certain message, which is actually an answer to what I was praying for, and the person had no idea I was praying about it.
So our duty is to pray,then God chooses when and how to speak to us about it.
Even the visions I share,God gives them to me randomly,when He chooses to,I don’t go to force Him to show me something.
When we do that there’s risk of a distorted message from the mind and because it’s from the mind,it still won’t happen even if the person gives you a word because God did not speak.
So if we want direction from the Lord we must not be lazy to seek God about it,then God will answer and speak to us.
There have been times I have asked the Lord to give me a word about something through someone, and I don’t go to tell them to do that,but because I prayed,He gives them a message on what I was praying about.
And sometimes,some of my brothers and sisters give me prayer requests about something without necessarily asking for a word and later God decides to show me either a vision or dream about it and I will tell them.
We must learn to pray and wait because so many people do end up giving a word from their own mind and lying that God said something when He didn’t.
We can share requests, pray and if God speaks on it there and then,He does but don’t force it if you want to be 100% sure the message you get is from the Lord, not your mind.
Wait on God because He cares about your concerns and does want to give you confort,so if you pray,He will still do it.
