"I wasn't ashamed to die a shameful death on the cross for you. Are you ashamed of telling people about Me?"
This is what Jesus told me one day when I had been out evangelising and a certain lady I met tried to publicly humiliate me to discourage me from street evangelism.
When Jesus told me that,I knew I had to get back on the street and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ!
He endured a very painful and shameful death just to save us.
He sticks with us even when no one else does,yet,why do we sometimes want to please people who are so unreliable and can leave us in an instant?
We need to please JESUS,the only true friend we can ever have.
Sometimes we worry about what our family will think,or what our friends will think,but they have no ability to go with us beyond this life.
If Jesus is your friend,even in death,when you breathe your last and are disconnected from your friends and family, Jesus will still be there with you,and now you will be able to see,touch,and talk to Him face to face.
Oh,what a friend we have in Him!A very loyal friend!
He will never leave nor forsake you,so let your loyalty to Him never waver.
If something pleases Jesus,then go for it,regardless of who gets displeased.
