Firstly repent of your sins,completely forsake all of then and accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.Then be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ.Acts 2:38 "Then Peter replied,each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God,and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins."
Then begin to live a holy life;a Christ-like life.
You must ask for the Holyspirit baptism because without the Holyspirit it is impossible to live a holy life.
Abandon all the ways of the earth and embrace the ways of your heavenly Father.
Begin to act and talk like your Heavenly Father.
Matthew 5:48"Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect."
Jesus is our perfect example,we are to be like Him.
If you know in your heart that Jesus wouldn't wear something,don't wear it either.If He wouldn't say something,don't say it either.
Dress like a child of the heavenly King.If you are a lady don't wear trousers and vice versa.God says it's unacceptable and an abomination to Him.Don't wear short or tight revealing clothes.Dress modestly.Don't wear jewellery or use artificial hair or paint in any way,that's all displeasing to the Lord.
Search your heart and have no unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart.No person has offended you enough to cost your soul.Forgive so that your Father in heaven will forgive you.
Do not worship idols of any kind.Don't worship money or cars or clothes or people etc.Whatever comes before God in ur life is your God.
Let the Holiness of God take over your tongue as well.
Avoid careless talk,lies,gossip,speaking ill of others.
Drunkeness,fornication,lust,adultery,murder(includes hatred) will all prevent you from going with Jesus when He comes.
All these things I ve listed here and more are all works of the flesh.
If they are present in your life,me included,it means our flesh has not yet been crucified and that's why it beats all this fruit.
surrender your life totally to God,be joined to Jesus Christ who is the tree of eternal life.You will find all these works of the flesh falling off.
When Jesus lives in you,you will automatically begin to bear the fruits of the Holyspirit and not of the flesh.
seek God,pray without ceasing,evangelise to others,ask God to search your life and show you everything that will cause you to remain when He comes.
Remember that the flesh can't do anything,we need Jesus Christ to do ALL this in us.so surrender to Him now,crucify the flesh,live for Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10"Don't you realise that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God?don't be deceived.Those who indulge in sexual sin,or worship idols,or commit adultery,or are male prostitutes,or practice homosexuality,or are thieves,or thieves,or greedy people,or drunkards,or abusive,or cheat people,none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
