INTERCESSION
All of us have people in our lives who are not yet saved or have backslidden back to the world.
I want to encourage you not to waste the time when your loved ones are still alive.
This is the time to seriously intercede for their salvation.
The Lord had shown me a vision of a relative of mine dying and in this vision I was very worried for their soul because I remembered they had a habit of gossiping.
I thought of praying for this person for mercy from the Lord,but then I realized that because this person has died,it means I can never ever pray for them for anything.
That it was too late to pray for their salvation.
I started to panic when I realized it was too late for me to do anything to help this person and I remembered that when they were alive I didn’t seriously intercede for their salvation but only prayed for them some times when I remembered.
I hadn’t made praying for their salvation a priority.
I wished I had spent more time praying for this person when they were still alive so that they could be freed from their sin and completely surrender to Jesus.
Then I realized how prescious it is to have our loved ones still here on earth.
It means we have a chance to intercede for their salvation and even to do prayer and fasting for them,to lose them from satanic bonds of sin and to ask Jesus to save them.
This time we have is very prescious and we must ensure we do not waste it but that we do our part.
Our part is to preach to the lost then to intercede for their salvation.
Prayer works and is very powerful.
