INTIMACY WITH JESUS

If you want to get close to Jesus you need to deliberately make time to be with Him.
You need to deliberately get on your knees and start praying, even if you don't feel like.
And you need to get your bible,open it and start reading, even if you don't feel like.
Getting close to Jesus isn't accidental,its intentional.
You must intentionally begin seeking Him by praying and reading the Bible.
Don't spend your time watching movies,browsing on social media,or doing whatever keeps you busy and think a time will come when you will suddenly just have the zeal to pray and fast,and read the bible.
Its a decision you make,and you intentionally follow through with your decision, and when you do that,God will strengthen you and you will begin to enjoy the time you are spending in prayer, and you will begin to pray more and read the bible more.
But it all begins with you intentionally choosing to go on your knees even if you don't feel like.
The flesh doesn't want to pray,read the bible,or serve God.
And the flesh only dies when you spend time in Gods presence.
When you deliberately begin to seek God, you will find Him and it is only then that the flesh will die and prayer will become a delight.
God really wants to be with us,but He does not impose and leaves the choice to us.If we draw near to Him,He draws near to us.
We are the ones who decide just how close to God we want to be.
God is willing to be close to us in a way that's more than any person who has ever been close to Him.
He's willing for you to walk close to Him more than Enoch did,and more than Moses did,more than any person ever did.
God is no respecter of persons and any person who walked closely with God did so because they made the decision to walk with God.
Whenever you come closer to Him,He comes closer to you!
So you are the one who decides that you don't want to get much closer….you decide that this is enough.
But it all begins with you intentionally seeking Him,and you will find Him.
God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.(Hebrews 11:6)
And the bible says EVERYONE who asks receives(Matthew 7:8)
"And you will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart,I will be found by you says The Lord….." Jeremiah 29:13-14
