A story that many Christians find themselves trapped in.
Julius was a first year student at the University of Zambia.He was a strong encouragement to his friends as he seemed to have a lot of faith in God and whatever he prayed for happened.Due to his faith,God blessed him and he even excelled in School.
When the School opened for second year,he had made it and had distinctions on his transcipt.This made him happy.However,one thing bothered Julius.There was a girl he had began to notice at School.She was exactly the kind of girl he wanted.She did not involve herself in things of the world like other girls and the most exciting thing is that she smiled at him whenever he looked at her.
So one day,he decided to ask her out and within one week,they were dating.He began to notice that his interest in God was diminishing but that did not seem to be of major importance as he was focusing on the girl.The very things he used to condemn,he began to do.What Julius did not know was that the girl was an agent of the devil.Everything had been planned and they had set her as a trap for him.Julius began to hear the Holy Spirit convincing him to disconnect himself from her.At one time,he decided to obey as he was feeling very guilty but this only lasted while they were on holidays.When they got back to School,she quickly convinced him and they started dating again.This process repeated itself 3 times.Finally,God revealed to Julius that the girl was an agent and that she had a mission of killing him.
For about 3 months,he succeeded in avoiding her.This was the first time he had suceeded in avoiding her for that long.If he ever tried to avoid her,she would call his phone until the battery shut down.She would also visit his room tirelessly asking for him.However oneday,Julius received a call from the sister of the girl.The sister said, "am around campus,where are you so that I can say hi?"
Being a soft hearted person,Juluis went to meet up with her.To his shock however,the sister was not alone but with his ex-girlfriend and 3 of their other friends.They said, "we know what happened between you two but that doesn't mean we all can't still be friends.Come tomorrow so that we can hangout." Julius looked around him at the audience and because of the people there,he failed to decline and said "ok,see you tomorrow".
His ex-girlfriend then winked at him and said "sure,tomorrow"
