When I see old people who have lived a full life and are now in the 'evening' time of their lives,the first thought that usually comes to my mind is,"what if they don't know Jesus?That would mean living a long life wasn't worth anything because their eternity isn't secured.
Sometimes I see people who are extremely poor,and again its the same question that comes to my mind,"do they know Jesus? Or are they going to continue suffering even when their earthly life ends?"
Other times I see people who are very wealthy and powerful in society,the same question still crosses my mind,"do they know Jesus or is their wealth going to vanish in an instant as it can't follow them in death?"
Other times i meet people are really good,and are selflessly serving others,giving abundantly and doing a lot of charity work,again my first thought when I meet such people is,"do they know Jesus? Have they given their lives to Him?Because if they haven't, all the good works and charity are in vain….
NOTHING replaces knowing Jesus and accepting Him as your Lord and Saviour.
Anything you can ever do,gain,or achieve is useless if you have not given your life to Jesus.
It will all vanish in an instant but where will you be?
Accept Jesus while you still have time.
