Many people seek to be prayed for and delivered from spiritual attacks which are causing them not to pray. While prayers are helpful in getting you uplifted ,you have to take the action of praying and seeking God EVERYDAY to remain strong in the Lord. If not,you will find yourself falling back into the same pattern of sin and seeking prayers for deliverance from attacks on your prayer life all the time. It is a fact that a Christian who does not pray or fast lives a compromised life. This is because the flesh is winning as the spiritual man is being starved.
There is no magic portion to help you live a Holy life. To live a Holy life ,you must strive everyday. Pray in the morning before going out,pray when you come back and pray at midnight. Make a habit of fasting regularly every week more than once. Make a habit of incorporating singing and reading the Bible into your daily prayer life. Evangelise at every opportunity, make scheduled over nights even twice a month. Arrange a fast of two or three consecutive days once a month aside from your regular weekly fastings.
Then you’ll see your heart begining to desire God more and more and the things of the earth will lose their glow to you.
God will begin to open up your spiritual eyes in various ways and reveal to you hidden things of the spirit.
You will also find that many of the things which seemed hard to overcome will nolonger be so hard because you are allowing God to fight for you.
The bible also says seek God first and all these things will be added to you.
You will begin to see the real essence of life. That you were created to praise the Lord and to make His name known across the world and to convince the unbelieving.
Granted,persecutions will increase as it is written that those who want to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution, but the Lord will help you over come.
If you re not willing to put in effort into your spiritual life you will find yourself always seeking prayers from attacks on your prayer life.
There is no magic formula to holiness. You have to seek the Lord.
That is why the bible says we should take up our cross DAILY.
There’s only ONE way to Heaven and it’s the NARROW way,but our Saviour is there to guide us through His word and Holy Spirit to ensure that He shows us the right path everytime we go astray.
It is up to us to follow His directions or choose to continue walking on the WRONG path while convincing ourselves that it is the right one.
James 4: 7-10 “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 DRAW NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
