Not everyone goes to heaven when they die.
There’s heaven but there’s also hell.
Jesus said many will not be able to make it to His Kingdom.(Matthew 7:14)
This is because they are too concerned about earthly life.
They cannot follow Jesus because they are too concerned about pleasing their friends and fitting in so they continue to drink, smoke, and live a wasted life.
They are too concerned about being in tune with the fashions that defy God’s standards.
They are too concerned with everything except pleasing God.
But once you die, your friends will post your picture everywhere and talk about how sad it is that you are gone, but they cannot rescue your soul from judgement.
They can say you are in heaven, but it cannot change your eternal destination of hell if you died in your sins.
Death comes unexpectedly.
If a house owner knew the exact hour the thief would come,he would secure it.
But death strikes when people have no idea they are at the end of their lives.
At death, the book of your records is closed and your works will accompany you to testify on your behalf wether you were a Christian or an unbeliever.
At death, nothing can ever be changed.
Sometimes people play around with sin, saying they will repent at death but God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that he will also reap.
You cannot fool God.
At death it will be too late to repent for anyone who deliberately lived in rebellion against God.
Because at death you are only scared, not that you are willing to let go of your sins.
If life is given to you again, you will continue in sin.
And God is a just judge, you cannot fool Him.
That is why the word of God says TODAY, when you hear His voice, don’t harden your heart, tommorow may be too late.
Why did God have to let His only Son die such a cruel death?
That should show you how terrible the punishment of sin is.
How terrible hell is.
That is why God preferred for His Son to suffer so that you don’t have to go there.
Because the wages of sin is death.
Not everyone goes to heaven when they die….
