During one of my night prayer times as I was praying the Lord showed me how powerless Satan is.
Satan just scares us but he’s got no power at ALL.
The movies and cartoons we grew up watching have brain washed us into thinking that he is scary and that we should fear him but that is his tactic against us. The whole aim of those movies was to brainwash us into believing lies and Satan was using the “bring up a child in the way in a certain way and when he is grown, he will not depart from it ” tactic.
He used the early years of our lives to brainwash us that he is to be feared and that is why many people today have a lot of trouble believing the he is not to be feared. You can only believe with the Lord’s help.
As long as you’re a true Christian baptised with the Holy Spirit, know that Satan shivers with fear when he comes across you. But in order to defeat you, he pretends that he is not scared of you and that instead, you’re the one who needs to be scared of him.
The bible says, “the Lord has not given us the Spirit of fear but of boldness, courage and of sound mind ”
The bible also says, “The righteous are as bold as Lion. ”
The Lord showed me Satan making all kinds of threats about what he would do e.g “I’ll take your family to hell! ” Then the Lord made me hear him as if he was just a child making all kinds of wishes without any ideas whether those plans would work. In my ears, I could hear as if its a child’s voice uttering wishes about what they want to do without even knowing whether they’ll succeed in what they want to do.
The Lord told me that what Satan says when issuing all kinds of threats is the same as a little child saying “When I grow up, I want to be a doctor, I want to be a lawyer etc ” without even knowing whether those plans will work or not.
Satan is not all knowing. He just uses tricks to overcome you and to discourage you.
In a separate vision, the Lord showed me a huge valley. In the vision, I could see that the atmosphere at this place was heavy with God’s power. Then I saw a lot of demons in the sky and because the place was full of God’s power, I saw that the demons started falling from the sky into the valley like leaves! They just kept falling powerlessly with no resistance at all! No one said a word to rebuke them. They just started falling on their own because they could not stand the power of God in this place and they were overcome.
Let us not fear Satan because we have all the power in Jesus Christ our Saviour.
“Behold, I have given you the authority to trample on scorpions and serpents and over ALL POWER of the enemy and they shall by NO MEANS HURT you”
