Some months ago,I met some ladies whom I started to share the gospel with.
They both told me they are believers but then they would go drinking,they would cuss when speaking,and they lived in fornication.
It was clear these people had no fear of God.
So I started to share the gospel of repentance with them,how God expects that when we believe in His Son,we must turn from the unfruitful works of darkness.
And they told me that God doesn’t care about the lifestyle they live because they have been redeemed by His grace only.
They said,”He is not a God of works.All that matters is that we should pray and remember God even as we do all these things (drinking,fornicating, and other sin).
Only those who never think of God completely will perish.”
This is a big lie causing many to deceive themselves and perish.
Revelation 22:14-15
“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.”
Roman’s 12:1
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
1 Peter 1:5
“but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,”
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]homosexuals, nor [b]sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”
Matthew 21:28-31
“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go, work today in my vineyard.’ He answered and said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he regretted it and went. 30 Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, ‘I go, sir,’ but he did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?”
They said to Him, “The first.”
Jesus said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that tax collectors and harlots enter the kingdom of God before you. “
Sinners who believe in Jesus and act on it by soon God’s will will enter God’s kingdom while those who claim to believe and have been in church for years without acting on their faith will be closed outside.
