Some people only know Jesus as the Judge, not a friend....

Some people only know Jesus as the Judge, not a friend.
But He’s the Lion and the Lamb.
Fierce and so gentle at the same time.
To know the Lord,you shouldn’t just know one part of Him without knowing Him fully because then you will get a false picture of who He is.
Even though He’s a powerful King of the whole Universe,
God’s children can relate to Jesus as a Father and a Friend.
He’s so loving and gentle to His children.
To His children,He desires to reveal His mercy,love, and goodness.
You can ask the Lord to help you draw near to Him.
Ask Him to help you to love Him,to increase how much you love Him.
You can’t love Jesus unless He helps you to,so ask the Lord to help you.
You will realize how wonderful the Lord Jesus is.
His love will become so real and so pure like a fountain.
God can make His love so real as though you can literally touch it.
He wants that with all His children.
He wants us to depend on Him like little children.
We are His little children.He wants that close Father-Child relationship with us.
The Lord has taught me to depend on Him so much.
I tell the Lord about everything in my life and it has become so normal to me that sometimes I catch myself telling the Lord something so irrelevant like,”Daddy, the water is so cold!” if I accidentally splashed water on myself or if I accidentally hit my foot my first thought is always my Heavenly Father,I ll be like,”Daddy I hit my foot it hurts”(haha).
I do that without thinking about it just because I have learnt to depend and talk to Him about everything.
Am always so aware of my Heavenly Father.
Am like a “spoiled” child to my Father.
He doesn’t mind,He likes it because He’s my Father.
I do tell the Lord alot of ‘small things’ that I don’t necessarily have to but I still do because He’s my Father and also a Friend.
He loves to hear us tell Him about everything.
The Lord doesn’t necessarily speak back to me about every single thing I tell Him but I have become so dependent on Jesus.
Satan tries to keep people away from truly being able to relate to the Lord Jesus and they feel like they have to put up a fake pious show before the Lord.
But the Lord doesn’t care about that,He wants a heart that loves Him and trusts Him.
Jesus is a friend.
Sometimes people think it’s wrong to relate to Jesus as a friend,but that’s just because they only know one part of His nature,they don’t know Him fully.
Jesus can be fierce in judgement as the Lion of Judah,but He’s also gentle, patient, loving, caring and relatable.
An uncle of mine wanted to talk me out of sharing the things the Lord has been showing me because they didn’t agree with his theology.
He was a Reverend (now late).
He sat me down to try to change my mind about my testimony of hell.
He told me to stop preaching to ” people who have already repented and going to heaven”(just because they were in church but living like everyone else).
He said that it was demons showing me things and just said alot of things to persuade me from all that the Lord had shown me.
He even told some other people that they need to “pray for me” because satan was deceiving me.
I knew what the Lord showed me was real,am the one who experienced it and it’s not something I could ever deny.
After talking to him,I remember I was so broken.
I was still at his house and the only place I could pray from in privacy was the garage.
I went into the garage, knelt down next to a small bench that was there and started crying.
I started to tell the Lord everything my uncle said about me and I was just so distressed.
I knelt down there for some minutes, crying and praying.
I then saw the Lord Jesus appear in the garage next to where I was kneeling.
Everything seemed so real I didn’t realize it was a spiritual encounter I was having.
I was still kneeling next to the bench.
The Lord looked at me and stretched out His hand to me.
I held the Lord’s hand and He helped me up.
The Lord Jesus then gave me a hug.
He didn’t tell me anything about all that I was crying about.
He didn’t say anything.
He just embraced me.
And I felt all my hurt and pain just vanish.
My heart was getting filled with joy,so much joy!
I knew that it was going to be alright and that I cannot stop doing what God wants me to do.
Jesus just embraced me for a few minutes, without saying anything,then left, as though I just snapped out of a trance.
All my focus had been on the Lord and that’s when I realized I was still in the garage.
Jesus is a friend.
He wants to relate to us like a friend.
He wants to relate to us a a Father,as a Friend,a Brother.
You do not need to see Jesus before He becomes your friend.
Don’t depend on your own might and power,depend on Jesus for everything.Talk to the Lord from the depth of your heart.
Confide in Jesus.
Prayer isn’t just a religious ritual,it’s talking to God and should be from the heart, about all the things that matter to you.
If they matter to you they matter to God.
Don’t feel like something is to small to pray about.
Depend on Jesus.
We can be free with Jesus.
We can tell Him even the smallest things that don’t matter.
He loves us,we are not forcing a relationship with Jesus,He wants it too.
He loves us and desires us.
He’s not just a God far away, He’s relatable.
