God does everything for a reason and says everything for a reason.
when you don't love God,obeying Him becomes a burden.But when you fall in love with Him,obedience just becomes natural,you obey because you love Him,because you want to bring joy to the Father.
It impossible to love the Lord unless He puts that love within you.
For we can do nothing on our own.John ,15:5.
We depend on God to do it all in us,on our own we can do nothing,the flesh can never do anything.
When we ask God to make us love Him more than anything,we will find it easier to obey Him,and it will get easier to pray.Just like u enjoy being with people you love,you will enjoy being with God in prayer,because you love Him,and you will enjoy reading His word more,because you love Him.Loving God wikk bring you into perfect union with Him,till you are one with Him.That is His perfect wikl for you.His passion will become your passion,what He hates,you will also hate.It's a point of true oneness with Jesus Christ.
It is at this point that Paul could say,"it is no longer I but Jesus who lives in me!"
You are one with Jesus and are so transformed and
It's more like you don't exist anymore,it's only Jesus.
Jesus overtakes your life.You are dead.You don't do what you want,you only do what Jesus wants.
You don't live for yourself anymore.
Jesus said whoever wants to come after me,let him deny himself,take up his cross and follow me. Matthew 16:24
You give up your life so that Jesus Christ takes over.
You totally surrender to God for Him to do whatever He wants with your life.
The bible says,whoever clings to his life will lose it,but whoever gives up his life for my sake will save it.
Jesus said I am the way,the truth and the life……John 14:6
He is the only way we can enter heaven.
We need to be in Him,and Him in us,total union with Christ till we are just one.
We must come to a point where we know God intimately,we were created to know Him and love Him.
Everything begins with loving God with all your heart,soul and mind.Ask Him to help you love Him.
The bible says draw near to God and He ll draw near to you.It's you to make the first step because God forces no one.
Even in John 15:4 Jesus said,"remain in me and I will remain in you."
You remain in Him first.
Because it's you who can either embrace or leave Him.
He's given that choice to us.
I am reminded of a vision someone once shared with me.
He saw the rapture in this way:Jesus was lifted up into the sky and people were holding on to Jesus so tight They are the only ones who were raptured.They were the ones holding on to Jesus and when He went,they went with Him.The Lord has already extended His love to us on the cross,it's up to us now.
