THE MOST POWERFUL WEAPON
Hello friends,how have you been?! I pray you have been keeping well and going forward in the faith.
I would like to share with you a dream I had yesterday which restored hope to me of the Lord’s presence and also reaffirmed the power in the name that many of us take for granted.
Satan has so trivialized the name of Jesus Christ that it is even used in swear words as though it is of no particular significance.
I have been going through a lot of attacks like I previously indicated on my timeline but have been praying for the Lord to come through and fight for me.
On Monday I woke up planning my day as usual but I felt led in my spirit to pray and fast even as I carry out my normal work activities. The feeling was so strong and I was convicted that that is what I had to do so I complied.
My day went normally until I even finished my fast.
Then tuesday morning around 04 I had an experience where I was half awake and half asleep. I was conscious of my surroundings but was in a state where I could not wake up. It was in that state that my body suddenly broke out into a fervent prayer in tongues (1 Corinthians chapter 14 shows that tongues are in line with Gods word).
I then realized that it was the Holy Spirit who had taken over my body and was praying for me. I understood that the prayer was for liberation from demonic attacks on my spiritual life. Romans 8:26 ” Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but kthe Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
I was feeling so happy in my spirit as I prayed that prayer.
However I found that when I wanted to conclude the prayer by saying “In the name of Jesus Christ I pray,” those words could not come out. It was then I saw 3 demon spirits in the room and saw that they were throwing some powers to stop me from speaking out that name because that is the only thing that would make the prayer valid.
I tried to say ”in the name of Jesus twice” but found that my mouth was stiff. It was only the third time that I fought and finally managed to conclude the prayer in the name of Jesus and felt liberated.
I was very amazed and encouraged when I woke up as this shows that God will never give up on us.
It also shows us the power that lies in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever we do not do in the name of Jesus Christ is not blessed.
That is why the bible in Colossians 3:17 says ” Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
Philippians 2:10-11 also shows us the power of the name of Jesus, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Wow what a wonderful name. Not just a name,but the name above all names!!
Be encouraged and know that the Lord is on your side. He has already won the victory on the cross.
