The reason we as God's children shouldn't be partaking in worldly entertainment I.e secular music,secular movies,soap operas, and non Christian animated movies is that they are all made to dull our minds from focussing on the spiritual.
They are made to distract us from pursuing Jesus and cause us to focus on carnal things which only lead to death.
You are not the one cussing or swearing or committing formication, or drinking, but you are entertaining yourself by watching people do the very things God hates!
Do you think the Holy Spirit inside of you is also finding it entertaining?
Life on earth is too short to be spent soap operas,when people are perishing and we do not have the time to preach to them or intercede for them,or even to pray for our own souls!
The moment you enter eternity, you will realise all those ungodly things you put in yourself in the name of entertainment were just bait for your soul
The Lord Jesus Christ told me that secular music, movies,cartoons etc are just bait satan uses to trap people to hell.Don't fall for it.
Use your time on earth wisely, use it for God.
Pray and fast,read your Bible, spend time with Jesus, tell the world about Jesus.
