Things that make us busy in this world will never end. We should always remember that we work to live and not live to work. We live to bring Glory to God’s name. We should always be ready for death as there will be no announcement when it comes. God expects to find us ready at the time of death in the same way He expects to find us ready at the time of rapture.
No one is too young to die. No one is too busy to die. When death comes,there is no excuse. We who are alive are not in any way more clever than those who have died.
Some died while living for Christ and have received the wages of righteousness. Others died while living in unrighteousness and have received the wages of sin.
Those who spend their lives watching secular entertainment, listening to secular music and doing all sorts of ungodly things will realise that time spent on those things should have been spent on prayer and God’s work,but it will be too late.
Let us use this time wisely and ensure that God comes first in every thing we do. Let us not allow anything in our lives to dethrone God from being first in our lives.
2 Cor 6: 2 Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
