When I was blinded by my love for sin,I used to think I could continue doing things that were clearly sinful just because no scripture directly gave a command on it.
I used to think on the day of judgement I would simply tell God,”but You didn’t write this in the bible!”
And I truly believed that would save me from condemnation.
But then I realized the Bible is a collection of books written by people who walked closely with God.
It contains the fundamentals of salvation but still not a substitute for the HolySpirit who is the ultimate teacher promised to believers.
Jesus wanted believers to receive the Holyspirit so that He may lead them in all truth.
He said I have so much to tell you but you cannot bear it now but when the Holyspirit comes He will lead you in all truth.
We too need to walk with God so that we may be taught by God Himself.
You can have the Bible but without the Holyspirit you will not understand what is in the Bible.
The Holyspirit will never contradict what is written in the Bible, because He authored it.
But even sin that isn’t directly written down,He will tell you to stay away from it.
Whatever doesn’t glorify God but brings shame to God’s name,the Holyspirit will tell you to stay away from it.
One way Satan has captured Christians is with worldly entertainment of ungodly soap operas,movies, ungodly music that glorify and normalize everything God hates.
Many will justify it to say the Bible does not condemn it.
But they can clearly see that participating in it only brings shame to God’s name,grieves the Holyspirit and brainwashes you into longing for a godless life.
It’s not directly written but God’s Spirit can show you whether it’s pleasing to God for you to grieve the Holyspirit by entertaining yourself through watching people commit fornication, adultery,incest, cussing and portray a life of sin as attractive.
Sercular entertainment will still take people to hell because it will be fruit that shows that a person did not have the life of Christ in them that is why they found sin entertaining, instead of grieving.

Anything that will defile God’s holy temple,He will tell you to stay away from it.
Whatever new ways of sinning that will be invented and were not directly recorded,the Holyspirit will still teach you.
He has been given to believers to be their teacher, telling them which way to go and not to go.
We need to make sure that we are baptized with the Holyspirit and follow Him as He leads us to eternal life and gives us power over sin.
Without the Holyspirit,you can read the entire bible and still not find life because even understanding of written scripture comes from the Holyspirit.
The Pharisees had all the scripture and thoroughly read it,yet they failed to recognize the Messiah.
We need the Spirit of God to help us understand the things of God.
They’re not understood by human intellect.
That is why Jesus is called “The Word of God.”
He comes to live in us and clearly teaches us how to live a life pleasing to God, seperate from the world.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd who leads His sheep to eternal life.
We need to be connected to Jesus,who is the true vine so that we may bear fruit for God’s kingdom and not love our sin.
We need to stay in fellowship with God and the Holyspirit will make sin and righteousness extremely clear to us and we will not be deceived by deceptive spirits that are operating in the world.
We need to know Jesus for ourselves and not just hear of Him.
It doesn’t mean seeing Him.
It means to be filled and led by the Holyspirit.
The Holyspirit will make everything clear to us and teach us how to walk with God.
Start seeking God daily and get rid of sin.
Become like a little child and depend on Jesus.
He will teach you how to live a holy life pleasing to God.

John 16:12-14
“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
