Written version:The Prayers of the saints a powerful weapon

On Thursday night I had shared about how it is very possible to live your life in obedience to Jesus for as long as you remain consistent in prayer.
On Friday morning as I was still sleeping,satan attacked me.
It is not the first time satan has attacked me.For all the years I have been doing God’s worksatan has been threatening and attacking me in order to discourage me.He does that to many people serving God because he only wants them to shut them up so that souls may perish.But we always have victory in Jesus Christ.God only allows him for a purpose.He can do nothing without God’s permission.

This time around,I was still sleeping when I saw him entering my room and he walked straight to the side of my bed and started questioning why I had shared that it is possible to live a holy life and then he started to threaten me saying,”I am going to kill you!”

He immediately started trying to suffocate me and I wasn’t able to wake up at this time although I was aware of everything and knew I was sleeping.
Then as he tried to suffocate me and push me off the bed,all of a sudden it was as if I was in the midst of this very huge church full of many people who were praying!
I could still see that I was still in bed and satan was attacking me but I could hear countless people praying very loudly.
It sounded as though I was in a very huge church and everyone in church was standing up praying loudly.
As I wondered what this was,the Holy Spirit gave me the understanding that the people I was hearing were God’s children worldwide,who at this very moment were in prayer!

Even though they were all praying individually and were in different places,in the spiritual realm their prayers were so united it sounded as though they were in one huge church praying together.
I heard both men and women praying.They were not praying for me,they were praying their own prayers.
They were praying about different things and waging war against satan’s kingdom.
As they prayed I saw satan lose his power,I could see his strength fading.
There was something I could see on his upper arm that represented his strength and it kept fading because of the prayers of the children of God who at this very moment were praying.

He started to mumble and complain about the people who were praying and left.
God made me to understand that because His children were praying,satan was unable to accomplish his plans!
Because God’s children were praying, even though they were not specifically praying against this very thing, their prayers did so much hard to satan in the spiritual realm and they incapacitated him!
God made me realize that satan fails to achieve so many things on earth just because God’s children somewhere are praying!

The prayers of the saints are so powerful and cause so much damage to satan’s kingdom.
Then I realized how wise God was in creating the world to have different time zones.He ctreated different time zones so that when people in another place go to bed,others elsewhere wakeup and pray.
When people in one place go to work,others elsewhere get off work and they pray.
He wanted to have His watchmen at the frontline of the battle in the spiritual realm at all times and that is one of the reasons He created our time zones to be different.
It is as though we work shifts to stay up on that wall and watch!Hw wants to have watchmen on the wall at all times!

Then I woke up and suddenly it was so very quiet!I couldn’t hear even one person praying!
All those people I heard praying together like one church,are people in different places but because they all pray by one Spirit which is the Spirit of God,their prayers are united and they are one big church in the spirit.
Our prayers achieve things that we will never even know they achieved.
Do not under estimate the power of prayer.
