THE POWER OF THE NAME OF JESUS
In the early hours of today after prayer at 3 am, I went back to sleep but as soon as I closed my eyes, I found myself in another place. I was confused as to where I was because I was aware that I had moved from my bed to this other place.
I knew that only my soul had moved out of my body and that my body was left present on my bed but as to what was happening that side, I was unaware because that was just my body that had been left behind but I was here in this place.
That also made me scared and start thinking like, "How am I going to go back to where I was since I'm now here in this place?"
The place looked like a temple. It was extremely massive and I literally felt like an insect.
I also saw a priest there wearing a black robe.
I could hear some Indian music playing.
Then I realised that this was an Indian temple.
Inside this temple were all kinds of gods in form of statues. They were extremely gigantic such that they only reminded me of demons in hell and indeed they are. Those which come claiming to be gods are actually demons from hell which come and deceive humans so that they can worship them.
Some of the statues were greenish in appearance as if they've been there for ages.
They were in different forms and sizes, both male and female and even animal like. Some were a group of entangled snakes,all in statue form .
I noticed a particular huge one which had its hand over its head and in its hand,a stick of fire which kept sending smoke upwards.
When I surveyed all this, looked all around me and behind, I felt like a worm indeed. Everything in here was so huge including the temple itself.
The priest saw me but he just looked at me and walked away as if he had seen nothing.
It was indeed the power of God protecting me.
Then a thought came into my head of the time the Philistines had defeated the Israelites and stolen the Ark of the Covenant.
They had gone to store it in the temple of their god Dagon. When they woke up the next day, they found that Dagon their god had fallen down before the Ark of the Covenant.
When that thought came into my head, I realised that we serve a Mighty Mighty God and so I commanded the same statue which seemed like the biggest of them all, " I command you to fall like Dagon in the name of Jesus!" (1 Samuel 5)
With no resistance, the statue started falling face down! But what amazed me most is that as it was falling,IT PUT ITS HANDS TOGETHER IN A PRAYING MOTION as if it was alive and could control its body!
Even the so called gods will worship the Lord. At the name of Jesus, every knee in Heaven,Earth and under the Earth shall bow and confess that He is God, Philippians 2:10.
I was left in shock awe!
Then I realised that I could use that name whenever I needed His help and He would not disappoint me.
When I realised how powerful the name of Jesus is, I then found the answer of how I was to going to go back to my bed!
I said, " I command to be transported back to where my body is, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!" and in an instant, I was back on my bed and I was perplexed at what had just happened.
I couldn't let this just pass. I had to write it down somewhere because I knew that by morning,some of the details will start to fade if I don't write it down.
I was so excited and still shocked! I was in a state of unbelief of did that just happen? Did I just go to that place and really come back at the mere mention of the name of Jesus?!
Oh what a POWERFUL NAME IT IS!
When I came back, it is also when I realised that the way of falling of the statue had not been ordinary.
I realised that the statue had FALLEN FACING DOWNWARDS because I had commanded it, "I command you to fall like Dagon!"
Although at that point I had only meant falling down to the ground, I then realised that all rules had been followed in answer to my command, 1 Samuel 5:4 " And when they arose the next morning, there was Dagon, FALLEN ON ITS FACE to the ground before the Ark of the Lord.
Therefore God has also HIGHLY EXALTED HIM and given Him the name which is above EVERY name Philippians 2:9.
