FAKE CHRISTIANS
Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
As the bible warns us,not everyone who claims to be a christian really is one. Some come for a mission, which requires them to pretend to be christians.
I was in town doing some shopping with my workmate after work when I met someone I didn’t know.
He seemed to know me from somewhere and I was very welcoming even though I didn’t remember who he was. He seemed to know about my testimonies as he kept going on and on about them.
As the conversation continued going,he however became very inappropriate in the way that he was talking to my colleague.
True, the bible tells us to share the word of God with people, but there must be wisdom in the way that its done otherwise it will have the opposite effect.Instead of drawing someone closer to God, it will draw someone away from God due to the way that He is being misrepresented.
James 1:5-6 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Not everyone that we share the word of God with always changes.
Thats why apart from evangelism, we also have to pray for God to soften someone’s heart. Some listen to messages of God but never make the decision to follow God but its not our place to force them to as God only considers things that are done willingly.
This man started asking my workmate, “has Zipporah ever shared her messages with you?” And he said “yes she has”. Then he proceeded now PHYSICALLY touching the weave in her head. “Do you know that because of this thing that you’re wearing in your head you’re going to hell?”
That was overboard and I cut the conversation short and told him we have to be on our way.
I was so embarrassed! My workmate looked physically upset though she didnt say it to me and even said she was going home and would shop another day after that incident. I continued shopping alone.
I only remembered who the man was when I asked him his name as someone I met in 2017 who had actually tried to destroy my testimonies.
I have shared about it on Facebook before. He had gotten hold of my number I don’t know through what means and said he wanted to know more about the testimonies.
He met me with his wife at the University I was studying and then told me there was an American missionary family they wanted me to share the testimonies with.
I was unsuspecting at that time especially that he was with his wife who was holding a baby and I thought I was safe.
However the place they were taking me to for evangelism seemed a little too far for me. It was on the outskirts of town and they hadn’t mentioned this to me earlier that the place was far.
On top of that, the man they wanted me to meet was not around, and we had to wait until 19:00 (7:00 Pm) that is when he arrived. The same man also didn’t give me the opportunity to share any of my testimonies but harassed me verbally as soon as I started sharing, calling them false and me possessed, telling me to kneel down so that he can ‘cast’ the demons out of me,saying someone can’t go to hell for the way they dress.
All this was happening while this couple that had taken me there watched silently as well as the missionary man’s wife and children who were over seven in number and some other visitors.
I calmly endured this as the area was like a farm area and had no sign of either taxi or bus. That couple had driven me in their car there. God gave me wisdom and I just remained quite and didn’t really tell them what I thought so that I can have a chance of getting out of there at least alive. I felt like they could even physically murder me.
The missionary man got so angry that I didnt want to give up my testimonies and kicked me out of his house! I have shared fully about this before.
I knew this was a severe attempt by the kingdom of darkness to discourage me from ever sharing my testimonies.
This couple had tricked me. They pretended to believe in holiness and asked me to share my testimonies with this missionary family that did not believe in holiness, but really it was a snare to discourage me from ever sharing my testimonies, which never succeeded anyway because its God’s work and not my own. We have to be ready to be persecuted for what is right even as those in the bible did.
So I remembered that this is the man who along with his wife had taken me to that missionary family and it is nowonder that he was behaving like this towards my workmate.
At that same time afterwards, God told me that he and his wife were actually demons in human disguise who had been sent against me with a mission.
He pretends to be for the testimonies when he is actually against them.
Thats why he was trying to ‘evangelise’ to my workmate in such a humiliating manner.
His goal is not to get her to God but to discourage her. By his behaviour he may have discouraged her from even wanting to know more as she was humiliated and thought that everyone who believes in holiness is like that.
So the point is that we should test every spirit.
The bible clearly says you will know them by their fruits.
Satan has planted so many of his agents, both human agents as well as demons in human disguise to destroy the works of God in ways that may not even look so obvious.
Shalom
