THE SPIRIT OF ACCUSATION
The bible does tell us that Satan has a lot of SCHEMES in 2 Corinthians 2:11. This means he has many tricks up his sleeve in trying to bring down Christians.
Satan’s ultimate goal is to make you backslide so that you should not make it to Heaven. He will first try to make you sin. If he fails,he will try to break you down to a place of vulnerability so that you stop praying.
One famous way he likes doing this is through ACCUSATION. I didn’t realize this but I went through something similar today and the Lord reminded me of the accusations that Daniel in the bible went through. If you read the book of Daniel,you will see that he was an upright man,but there where people who literally spent thier days and nights scheming of how to bring him down and constantly making various accusations.
That is a spiritual attack of accusation. It’s not an attack that I realized existed but I passed through a similar incident today where someone accused me of something completely parallel from what I would ever do.
Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of all the bible verses where Gods children where falsely accused and I realized that it’s one of Satan’s schemes.
It’s the spirit of accusation.
Jesus was many times falsely accused.
The bible tells us that Satan is the accuser of the brethren.
Revelation 12:10 “For the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God DAY and NIGHT has been cast down.”
It was then that I realized it was one of Satan’s attack strategies to bring discouragement and I decided to soldier on.
The levels Satan would go to bring you down show you just how desperate he is to bring you down.
This should show you just how horrendous hell is and how awesome heaven is.
This world is passing away. Things are not permanent no matter how matter they may seem. Change is bound to come. That is the way of life.
Choose Jesus.
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
Fast and pray.
Seek God.
