Worldly(ungodly) entertainment is satan’s quickest way to sear the conscience of people to see sin as normal,acceptable,and even desirable.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,”
It kills your conscience that what you could clearly recognize as sin,you start to see it as normal and even desirable after seeing it presented positively several times on TV.
The same way the LGBTQ are advancing their agenda by glorifying homosexuality in movies, music,TV shows, magazines, novels.
Once celebrities whom people look up to present themselves to the world as homosexual,satan makes it look normal, acceptable and even desirable.
He makes the acceptance of such ideologies seem progressive.
But God is not progressive.
He is the same, yesterday,today and forevermore.
He isn’t influenced by what a certain generation consider acceptable which is why He warned us that the world is passing away.
Many generations have come and gone with all the things they considered modern and acceptable.
Yet those ideologies pass away with those generations and God doesn’t change!
He lives in eternity and will not change.
Protect your conscience from being seared by satan to make you insensitive to sin.
You may say the things you watch/listen to will not affect you because you already know the truth.
They will affect your view of sin and sear your conscience to see sin as normal and they grieve the Spirit of God.
Be separate from the world.
2 Corinthians 6:17
Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”
