During prayer, the Lord showed me how the devil discourages people and attempts to make them stop following after God by deceiving them that its impossible to go to heaven.
The Lord showed me in a vision, Satan looking like a very old man. He was riding on a bicycle. I saw him carrying a reed mat behind the bicycle and he was cycling away from where my sister and I were praying! Then the Lord told me that its his reed mat of lies. He has a reed mat on which he will make you to lie on spiritually. When you are lying on this mat, you begin to believe his lies that you will never be saved and you become discouraged.
It all started with Rachael and I. The devil has been lying to my sister and I that we will never get saved, even if we try our best to live a holy life. He was whispering to our minds, "It just won't happen! Its impossible! You are going to hell! When you die, God will search you THOROUGHLY until he finds something in you that will prevent you from entering heaven. Just look at how many people I have managed to take to and am still leading to hell, almost the WHOLE WORLD! So now how can you escape?! You are going to hell no matter what! "
That's how he was making us feel. Making us feel totally unworthy of Jesus and that we're wasting our time pursing holiness because we are still going to land in hell anyway, that because its extremely difficult to enter into heaven, almost to the point of impossible. That's what he was saying.
Then the Lord told us that ALL those are Satan's lies which he whispers to people, in an attempt to make them backslide so that he can have them.
Satan is the Father of all lies. This means that he knows ALL TRICKS of lying. He can twist lies to make them seem like COMPLETE TRUTH.
The Lord also showed us that Satan was vomiting a green liquid on us and that that liquid would cover our skin! The Lord told us that he was vomiting his lies on us.
Satan tries to defeat you MENTALLY so that when you believe his lies that all hope is lost, then he can step forward and really defeat you. The first defeat was A BIG LIE . It was a lie spoken to your mind. When the devil speaks to you, you'll think its you thinking those thoughts but its him whispering them to you.
He speaks in two ways. Sometimes he will speak directly to your mind and say, "You will never make it! You are a sinner! " Other times, he will whisper to your mind using the word I so that you think that its you who is just thinking but its not you! Its that old serpent trying to deceive you. He will say, "I will never make it. How many times have I failed God. How many times have I repeated my mistakes over and over again? I should just give up. "
You won't notice its him. He's got many tricks to try to make you give up.
The Lord saves. The word saviour means someone who saves. It means there is danger and you can't save yourself from this danger. Then someone who is able to help you out comes and saves you. He is your saviour. God knows we can't make it to heaven on our own. God is not expecting you to make it to heaven on your own. Nothing is impossible with God. Its not you who takes your self to heaven. Its Him. Continue in the narrow path. If God knew that's its impossible for us to go to heaven, He wouldn't even be giving us warnings. He would just be leaving us.
Satan knows this truth. He also knows that God makes a way where there seems to be no way and makes things that seem impossible possible. He is scared that you will get saved and so he is trying to pull you away from God's side by deceiving you that there is no chance so that he can have you.
When I realised this truth, I saw Satan riding away from where my sister and I were praying, carrying his reed mat of lies. He was going away from us. Mission failed.
He was going to look for the next victim to spread his reed mat for so that he can make them lie on it spiritually and believe his lies that they will never be saved. He wants people to believe that his words are truth. Resist him. All he wants is to deceive you so that you give up and go to hell.
